U.S. ethanol output fell last week; supplies gained

The U.S. produced an average of 844,000 barrels of ethanol per day last week, the lowest in three weeks and down 13,000 barrels per day from the week before, according to the Energy Information Administration. Supplies of the biofuel rose to 16.482 million barrels, up 57,000 barrels from the previous week, the EIA said.
