W+K creates "hypnotizing" karate spot for Southern Comfort

The Southern Comfort liquor brand is "keeping things weird and hypnotizing" with a new ad that shows a man performing karate moves while getting his hair colored, Gabriel Beltrone writes. The ad, from Wieden+Kennedy in New York, works mainly because of its star, a "self-possessed everyman" with a "peculiar-but-relatable vibe," Beltrone writes.
