A4A predicts 14M air travelers for Labor Day holiday

Airlines for America predicts 14 million passengers will travel on U.S. airlines over the Labor Day holiday. The holiday travel period, which runs from Aug. 27 through Sept. 2, is expected to see 2% more passengers compared with last year. "Airlines are key drivers of jobs and economic growth, and improving finances have further accelerated their investments in people, products and technology to enhance the travel experience for customers," said John Heimlich, A4A vice president and chief economist, in a news release.
