Two firms bid for Marquette Interchange project

Walsh Construction and Marquette Constructors, Milwaukee, have requested bid documents for the core and south legs of the $810 million Marquette Interchange project in Milwaukee. DOT estimates put the core leg at a cost of approximately $300 million and the south leg at $50 million. The core project alone includes rebuilding 18 bridges and pouring more than 16 acres of concrete.
