Confidant to develop wireless patient monitoring system

Confidant is partnering with MeadWestvaco to develop a wireless tracking system that monitors when patients take medications and links patients and caregivers. The technology features a mobile phone that collects data from home medical devices and drug packages, then transmits the information to a server that checks the data against a patient's treatment program and medical history.
