More home-based agents service corporate programs

Travel-management companies have started using home-based agents more as telecommunication platforms have improved, reservation processes have become standardized and they have realized service gains during natural disasters and other periods of inclement weather. For example, 40% of the travel counselors in North America for HRG are home-based. Travel management company executives say one of the main advantages of home-based agents is the flexibility they offer.
