TIA campaign aims to raise awareness about travel issues

The Travel Industry Association is planning to challenge presidential candidates and voters to think about travel-related issues. The group is urging the candidates to address delays in air travel, hassles at airports and the promotion of tourism. "We want to hear a real plan from Sen. Obama to help make travel and tourism in the U.S. work better for travelers and the millions who serve them," says the advertising copy prepared for newspapers in Orlando, Fla., and Las Vegas for the upcoming Democratic convention.
