Construction starts were up in July

New construction starts in July climbed 7% to a seasonally adjusted $411.2 billion, according to McGraw-Hill Construction. Nonresidential construction starts have risen 7.5% to $149.7 billion since the beginning of the year, reports Reed Construction Data. The value of starts has been stable for about five months running.
