Some lawmakers are still pushing for e-commerce tax

Although the topic of Internet sales taxes has been featured in many debates over the years, an e-commerce tax could still become a reality. Rep. William Delahunt, D-Mass., has introduced a bill -- the Main Street Fairness Act -- that would let states collect sales tax from retailers out of state if they optimize their systems with a specific software. EBay has already requested a small-business exemption.
