Starbucks faces coffee-cup recycling challenges

Starbucks is meeting some obstacles toward the goal of ensuring that all of its stores have a way to recycle coffee cups by 2015. Recycling mills see the cups as tougher to transform than cardboard boxes and other paper-based items, because of the thin plastic linings that keep the brew from soaking through. The chain aims to change minds through partnerships with two mills.
