Connecticut approves composting law

Connecticut passed a law that requires companies to compost if they produce more than 104 tons of food waste. "We are very pleased with the new legislation. ... It makes it very palatable for business to comply with the regulations," said Stan Sorkin, president of the Connecticut Food Association.
