How educators plan to address the riots in England

In England, several headteachers say they plan to address the recent riots by telling students that such behaviour is unacceptable and by teaching them about their responsibilities as citizens. Primary-school headteacher Kate Frood said she will teach students how to make positive changes, while maintaining respect for the law. Principal Gill Kelly said the riots will be a topic of debate in citizenship lessons, and headteacher Lawrence Montagu will discuss the root of the problem with students -- that the country's young people feel they lack opportunities.
