4 projects named under Obama's "We Can't Wait" initiative

President Barack Obama has named four transportation projects as part of his "We Can't Wait" initiative, citing their national or regional significance. They are the $3.5 billion Columbia River Crossing between Oregon and Washington state; a $100 million rail improvement project in North Dakota; an $89 million bypass project in Washington state; and a $25 million bridge replacement project in Maine. The initiative will expedite the permitting and review process of the projects.
