Advisers' top goal: Winning nest-egg builders

Advisory firms increasingly are targeting potential clients who are accumulating savings for retirement, a survey indicates. The poll by market researcher Hearts & Wallets found that 75% of firms say acquiring clients is a primary strategy, while 20% ranked serving retirees as a more profitable goal, down from 37% three years ago.
