Broadband network aimed at boosting digital learning in Md. schools

The One Maryland Inter-County Broadband Network -- an $18.6 million project -- will establish a technology infrastructure across nine counties to help improve students' access to digital learning. The project also seeks to improve public safety, commerce and health care. "In order to create globally competitive graduates, we have to make sure there's a digital learning environment in every single school in every single student, in every single community," said Dallas Dance, Baltimore County Schools superintendent.
