Deadly virus linked to Egyptian tomb bats

Egyptian tomb bats have been linked to the deadly Middle East respiratory syndrome, which has been spreading in the region for more than a year. Scientists tracked a small fragment of the virus genome to the bat, suggesting that the virus originates with the creatures.
