E-commerce site Zady aims to simplify things for socially conscious shoppers by using icons to quickly communicate whether a given product is eco-friendly, locally sourced or otherwise responsibly produced. The site backs up its claims by visiting factories and having suppliers sign contracts that set out sourcing and production protocols.
