Fed minutes extend slide in Asian shares

Confirmation in the latest meeting minutes from the U.S. Federal Reserve's policymakers that they'll eventually phase out the bond-buying program sent Asian shares lower Thursday. The Nikkei eased 0.44% to 13,365.17, the Kospi fell 0.98% to 1,849.12 and the S&P/ASX was down 0.48% at 5,075.70 while the Hang Seng managed a gain of 0.36% to 21,895.40 on stronger manufacturing figures out of China.
