Fewer customers lead BofA to reduce drive-throughs

Bank of America is cutting back drive-through teller lanes at some branch locations because fewer customers are using them, the company says. Customers will continue to have service inside the branches and 24-hour service through drive-up ATMs. Meanwhile, Bank of America and other banks are debuting more advanced ATMs in some locations that allow customers to talk to tellers in real time, among other features.
