Health coaches help people adopt long-term lifestyle changes

Health coaches, some of whom also are fitness trainers, can help people make lifestyle changes they can stick with long term by helping them to set goals and providing support. Cedric Bryant of the American Council on Exercise says people may know how to lead healthier lives with exercise and diet, but "the reality is the adherence to such ideals is very low."
