Study: Miami, NYC are among world's cities with greatest flood risk

Miami, the New York City-Newark, N.J., area and New Orleans are among the 10 cities worldwide that face the greatest risk of coastal flooding, according to a study by the journal Nature Climate Change. Flood losses around the world could reach $52 billion by 2050, and flood damage could increase by 20% because of sea-level rise and tectonic activity, the study says.
