Wellness program targets diet, exercise for Pa. students

A school-based wellness program for fourth-graders in the Philadelphia area will bring in chefs to prepare nutritious family-style meals and a fitness company to provide exercise training. Dietitians from Villanova University's MacDonald Center for Obesity Prevention and Education will track what children eat through online food diaries provided by parents and evaluate children's awareness of health issues by conducting focus groups.
