Aerospace industry boosts S.C. economy, report says

The aerospace industry in South Carolina contributed $17 billion to the state economy in 2013, according to a report from the University of South Carolina. Aerospace, which employs more than 102,000 residents, is also one of the top growth industries for South Carolina. Boeing selected South Carolina as the location for its 787 facility in 2010.
