Ohio senator proposes bill to curb infant death rates

Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, introduced a bill aimed at helping doctors and researchers combat infant mortality. The Sudden Unexpected Death Data Enhancement and Awareness Act would standardize protocols for examining stillbirths and unexpected infant deaths as well as create a benchmark for collecting data for investigations and autopsies.
