Pa. commission approves Uber for operation

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission will allow Uber to operate within Allegheny County after granting the company a temporary operational license for 60 days. The decision officially ends the cease-and-desist order that has been in effect since July 1. Uber says it will now seek permanent PUC approval to operate in the Pittsburgh area.
