Rising oil prices shouldn't hurt ... as much

When oil prices surged in the past, the economy was driven into recession, and as oil prices continue to break records, some economists worry that it may slow the nation's economic expansion. However, a New York Times piece says the country is more energy-efficient than it was before, and though recent price increases will hurt, it will be more like "little jabs" than a "one-two big punch."
