Argentina approves Syngenta biotech corn

Argentina has given its approval to imports of Syngenta's GA21 biotech corn, allowing the Swiss company to compete with Monsanto, whose biotech Roundup Ready corn was approved by Argentina last year. Monsanto has applied to have another corn variety allowed into Argentina, the world's No. 2 corn exporter.
