Harvard researcher to lead Massachusetts state school board

Paul Reville, a well-known Harvard education policy researcher who helped reform Massachusetts schools in the 1990s, will become the state's Board of Education chairman. Educators praised Reville's appointment, and Glenn Koocher, the Massachusetts Association of School Committees' executive director, called the choice "bold but brilliant."
