NBCT: Linking test scores to teacher evaluations is a bad idea

National Board Certified Teacher Anthony Cody writes in a blog post that despite California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's claims, data that links teachers to student testing data is accessible by schools and local districts. Cody also writes that attempts to use this data to evaluate teachers could be disastrous, and that student performance can vary from year to year even with the same teacher in the classroom.
