Researchers tackle network latency

Network latency, or delay, can be the scourge of some enterprise applications, such as real-time communications and high-performance computing, and it can be tricky to get to the root of the problem. Researchers believe they have developed a relatively inexpensive system for finding the source of latency by sampling representative packets.
