Report: A350 deliveries may slip to 2014

Airlines that have ordered the Airbus A350 likely won't see the next-generation aircraft before 2014, according to a forecast by Bernstein Research, and even then deliveries will lag in the single digits. Airbus has said deliveries will begin in 2013, and a spokesperson said the company does not have "any basis to confirm the data in the Bernstein report." Bernstein also predicted that Boeing will retake the top spot among commercial plane-makers next year and that wide-body aircraft will make up more than 50% of the company's deliveries by 2014.
