How to collect content for digital learning

The school where instructional technologist Andrew Marcinek teaches is transitioning to digital textbooks. In this blog post, he discusses the "building phase" of the process, during which teachers collected and shared materials with one another. Teachers at his school used a wiki to store their materials, but other services -- such as Google Docs -- can also work, he writes. One important step is to inform teachers about copyright laws, which make some allowances for educational purposes, Marcinek writes.
