Students with autism turn to schools for mental-health help, study finds

Forty-six percent of children with autism used mental-health services in the past year and nearly half received the services through their schools, according to a study conducted by the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. Black and low-income students were the most likely to use school services, the study found.
