La. superintendent disputes claims over computer readiness

In response to criticism in Louisiana that school leaders are concerned they will not be prepared for computer mandates, state Superintendent of Education John White announced 86% of students in the state attend schools that meet the requirement. The state is transitioning to a requirement that school districts have one computer or similar Internet-enabled device for every seven students.
