RD: Flavored milk is not a dietary enemy

While efforts to ban chocolate milk in school cafeterias are a hot topic, registered dietitian Tamara Duker Freuman writes that there are far worse culprits contributing to children's excessive intake of sugar. Among them, she writes, are obvious sources such as junk food and soda, but also hidden sugars found in cereals, fruit snacks, yogurt and pasta sauces.
