Wal-Mart touts new luxe items in Vogue

Wal-Mart Stores purchased eight pages in the ultra-fashionable September issue of Vogue, which is known for its catalog-like heft and advertisements from top fashion designers promoting their fall lines. Wal-Mart is trying to duplicate the success of rival Target in selling luxury goods like high thread-count sheets, more stylish fashions and designer housewares.
