New study suggests substituting honey for sugar

A study funded by the U.S. National Honey Board says that the health benefits of honey make it a viable sugar substitute. Reported benefits range from prebiotic to antioxidant, and last year researchers from Purdue University noted that combined with calcium supplements, honey could help bone health.
