Recession gives small firms chance to get talented interns

The number of interns willing to try out jobs at small businesses increased in the past year when competition for jobs was so tight and the number of internships dwindled. As a result, many small-business owners were able to tap a low-cost pool of energetic talent that could become their future work force.
