Spike seen in poison control center calls over ADHD drugs

Calls to poison centers about teenagers abusing ADHD drugs increased 76% between 1998 and 2005, according to study data. Researchers said 42% of teens involved in the calls had moderate to severe side effects from the stimulants, and most were treated at hospital emergency departments.
