Wesfarmers aims to reverse Coles' reputation for empty shelves

Wesfarmers is striving to battle the public perception that its Coles supermarkets have empty shelves by stocking more fresh vegetables and fruit than it will sell. "We will have higher wastage for a period of time because we've got to get an offer that our customers know is terrific quality at terrific value," CEO Richard Goyder said.
