Marsh Supermarkets is no longer for sale

Marsh Supermarkets, a chain of about 100 locations, is no longer for sale after parent company Sun Capital Partners failed to find a buyer to meet its asking price of $130 million to $150 million. The private-equity firm has renovated dozens of stores, cut overhead and spun off nongrocery businesses.
