New book honors San Francisco's iconic Golden Gate bridge

The iconic Golden Gate bridge is the subject of a new book bearing its name by University of California history professor Kevin Starr. "Golden Gate" tracks the building of the bridge and making of an icon, which has been called "perhaps the most successful combination of site and structure since the Parthenon."
