For-profit group to open teaching center for people with disabilities

A for-profit group in Colorado Springs, Colo., is opening a center for teaching practical life skills to teenagers and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. The 7,000-square-foot Foundation for Successful Living features real-life teaching rooms -- including an apartment fully equipped with appliances -- as well as space to hold family events such as movie nights and other meetings.
