Stress can worsen symptoms of PMS, study finds

A U.S. study found that women ages 18 to 44 who reported high levels of stress in the weeks preceding menstruation had a greater risk of experiencing moderate to severe symptoms of premenstrual syndrome. Researchers suggested that relaxation exercises or techniques might help women to reduce stress and the severity of their symptoms.
