U.S. officials strive to boost the number of people getting flu shots

Health officials are aiming to get more Americans vaccinated this year with the flu shot, which includes the H1N1 flu strain. CDC guidelines recommend all Americans aged 6 months and older, except those with certain allergies and other conditions, to be vaccinated against the flu. The agency said manufacturers are producing up to 165 million doses this year, more than ever before.
