Viralheat offers free sentiment-analysis tools

Social Trends, a service offered by analytics startup Viralheat, is giving marketers free access to a wealth of real-time social-media data. The service uses sentiment-analysis software to keep users up to speed on the Web's collective attitude toward selected keywords. Companies such as ESPN are using the service to watch how brands -- and NFL teams, in ESPN's case -- are performing on social networks.
