WSI revises outlook for this year's hurricane season

Weather Service International lowered its prediction for the Atlantic hurricane season this year but maintained its above-average outlook. The season could still produce 18 named storms, 10 of which could grow into hurricanes, WSI said. "Our model suggests that the threat to the Northeast Coast this season is on par with that in Florida and the Gulf coastal states," the firm added.
