$1.4B highway project to ease congestion at U.S.-Canada border

Work on a $1.4 billion, six-lane, below-grade highway in the Windsor, Ontario, area that should help alleviate congestion along the trade corridor between Windsor and Detroit has started. Construction of the 6.8-mile-long Windsor-Essex Parkway will create more than 12,000 jobs.
