Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have developed a mathematical model that enables them to view the types of alloys that will be stable at a specific temperature without making and testing them. The model suggests that zinc, gold, and chromium can be used to stabilize the nanocrystal structures of tungsten.
