Ting, which resells wireless service over Sprint Nextel's network, soon will allow customers to access its service via most Sprint handsets instead of having to buy one of the handful of devices that Ting offers, usually at full price. The option will be offered beginning in the fourth quarter. Exceptions will include Sprint's iPhone, BlackBerry handsets and push-to-talk devices. Ting allows customers to buy buckets of voice, text and data services based on how much they need each month.
